This was awesome. As a Gen Xer I for one was into Punk, Hardcore and Thrash metal. I actually knew back then how screwed my generation and down would be. We tried to buck the system but being a small generation we could not fight against our boomer parents as much as we wanted. I feel so much for the younger generation and that we failed you. Things are falling apart before my eyes. Stuff that my liberal mom fought so hard for! I keep thinking of the Slipknot song as they are my age. ‘Left Behind’
